We are only a small company and deploy software using GPO. I am trying to roll out Acrobat Reader 1502020042 to address this issue What's going on with this? Am I the only one who's noticed either of these things? I suppose on that one computer I'll have to download AdbeRdr1010_en_US.msi and place it in that directory where the patch is looking for it. On Adobe's pages for both enterprise and home users it only offers 10.1.4 as the older version prior to 11, not 10.1.5 as one would expect. Yet it appears there's no offline installers in like for example AdbeRdr1015_en_US.exe or AdbeRdr1015_en_US.msi. Normally in a situation like this I could just download the offline installer, and as an enterprise user I want to do that anyway. It's looking for AdbeRdr1010_en_US.msi in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\ARM\Reader_10.0.1\ but it can't find it. "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" The Adobe Reader Updater downloaded the update but it tells me: Hi, I'm trying to update Adobe Reader 10.1.4 on a 32-bit Windows XP SP3 computer to Adobe Reader 10.1.5. Is there a way around this without going to enterprise licensing and being able to use the same serial number on all installs? This means I don't have a chance to deactivate the serial number used for install before it gets to end user. I don't have that option with Image Direct as I can't pre-install acrobat due to virtual drivers so the only way to add it to image is to upload a silent install package and scipt it to install during the image build. ![]() When we restored the image and started acrobat 9 it again prompted for the serial which allowed us to put in the unique serial number that comes with the computer. I would like to replicate that with the custom image we put on there to load at the factory.Ĭurrently with our imaging setup I replicated that by installing with a serial number then deactivating and removing the serial number before imaging. We order an acrobat license with each computer and when we get the computer from Dell with the Dell image it comes pre-installed with acrobat 9 and the first time you run the program it prompts you for the serial which is on the acrobat cd that is included. I need to roll out a number of client computers from Dell using their Image Direct program.
